PURPOSE
The purpose of this procedure is to establish the safety policy for the Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department.
REQUIREMENTS
This policy applies to all members of the Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department. It is intended to establish the process whereas the members create a safe environment for all members and citizens who come in contact with us.
It is the policy of the Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department to provide and to operate with the highest possible levels of safety and health for all members. The prevention and reduction of accidents, injuries and occupational illnesses are the goals of the Mount Pleasant Volunteer Fire Department and shall always be the primary considerations. This concern for safety and health applies to all members of the department and to any other person who may be involved with department activities.
